Take a moment to think about this quote from Edward Snowden on privacy:
“Arguing that you don’t care about privacy because you have nothing to hide is like arguing that you don’t care about free speech because you have nothing to say.”
“Because privacy isn’t about something to hide. Privacy’s about something to protect.”
“Privacy,” Snowden went on, “is the right to the self. Privacy is what gives you the ability to share with the world who you are, on your terms.”
“Privacy is baked into our language, it’s why we call it private property.”
Pretty strong reasoning from a person who knows what he is talking about when it comes to privacy.
Many people are using Wyoming LLC’s for this privacy.
Wyoming law allows privacy. Wyoming does not require that we list the member or manager of an LLC on the State records. We are required, as Registered Agents, to know who the person is behind an LLC and must provide this information to the State or Federal authorities if they request it. However, it is not public information that can be accessed by anyone via a web browser. Visit our privacy page to find out how you can benefit from Wyoming corporate law and how we can help!
